So, today was super interesting and hilarious. Today was "The Adventures of Hope and Thomas, a mass humiliation." How it all started was when me and Thomas entered Canned for the day. We walk towards the American Pavilion snd who do we see but CHRIS PINE! That's right. Prince Charming himself. No naturally, Thomas runs out to him with his hand in front of him and an alarming look in his eyes. Chris Pine's bodyguard then processed to push Thomas away and make sure that he does not come any closer to Chris. I, on the other hand, stood frozen with so much awe. Thomas and I laughed for about 1 hour after that incident about how embarrassing he was. It made my entire day so much better.
After a little shopping and grabbing some lunch we headed to a film called What Happened Last Night? This is when things got embarrassing for me. Now this film was just, in one word, horrendous. It was, and I kid you not, a class project. This film, despite the terrible camera work, directing, acting, and basically everything else was just hard to watch. However, it had Amber Rose and a few other small named actors in there. During the entire film, Thomas and I just bashed this thing. We commented on how awful absolutely every aspect was. During the film, I noticed that everyone around me was dressed to the nines. I just figured they were going to see a premiere after this film. At the end of this disaster, everyone in the theater started clapping. Not a normal thing for a terrible film. But I just went with it and left. When I walked out of the theater, however, there stood most of the cast. That is when I realised that this was a premiere. I was mortified! The actors were in the room! The whole time! And they probably heard me! So that is when I literally ran away. It was humiliating, but one of the funniest experiences of my life.
After being completely humiliated, me and not Thomas went to go see American Honey. I, of course, ended up sitting right next to the creator of What Happened Last Night. Yay. He very casually asked me what I thought about the film while commenting on it himself. He seemed to really enjoy his own film, surprise. I, very smoothly, only commented on things that didn't really have anything to do with the film at all. But, I got away without saying anything insulting before American Honey began. And wow! I really enjoyed this film. It was incredible. yes it was 3 hours long, but I didn't think it was bad at all! I was intrigued and fascinated the entire time. And I though Shia did an AMAZING job! I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about him performing in this movie, but we did great! After getting out, everyone that we met up with in the taxi line told the story of how self-centred Chris Pine is and how he was rude and obnoxious. Of course, everyone got to have a rude interaction with Chris Pine but me. Just my luck. And that was my entire day. Chasing down a bad boy I know I'll never be able to tie down.
Chris hates Hope 4 ever.
